Managing Columns & Rows in Divi

Columns and rows control how content is arranged on your page. With Divi, you can easily add, resize, or remove them to adjust your layout.

Step 1 – Enable the Visual Builder

Go to the page you want to edit and click Enable Visual Builder in the WordPress admin bar.

Step 2 – Add a New Row

  1. Hover inside a section.

  2. Click the green + icon.

  3. Choose a column structure (e.g., 1 column, 2 columns, 3 columns).

Step 3 – Resize Columns

Hover over the dividing line between columns.
Drag left or right to resize the width of each column.

Step 4 – Remove a Column or Row

  • To remove a column’s content, delete the module inside it.

  • To remove the entire row, click the trash can icon on the row controls.

Step 5 – Move Rows Around

Hover over the row’s control bar and drag it up or down to reposition it on the page.

Step 6 – Save Your Changes

Click the green checkmark in the settings panel, then click Save (bottom-right purple circle).

Additional Notes

  • Rows (green) live inside Sections (blue). You can have multiple rows inside one section.

  • Use different column structures to balance text, images, and buttons.

  • For advanced layouts, switch to Wireframe View for easier control.
