Editing the Header in Divi

Your header is the top section of your website, usually containing your logo, navigation menu, and sometimes contact details. With Divi, you can edit it using the Theme Builder.

Step 1 – Log in to WordPress

From WHMCS or /wp-admin, log in to your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 – Open the Theme Builder

In the left-hand WordPress menu, click Divi → Theme Builder.

Step 3 – Edit the Global Header

Find the Global Header area. Hover over it and click the Edit button.

Step 4 – Update Header Content

Inside the Visual Builder you can:

  • Replace the logo with your own.

  • Edit or swap the menu module.

  • Add contact details, social icons, or buttons.

Step 5 – Style the Header

In the Design tab, adjust:

  • Background colour.

  • Font styles and sizes.

  • Spacing and alignment.

Step 6 – Save the Header Layout

Click the green checkmark, then click Save Changes in the Theme Builder.

Step 7 – Check the Live Site

Exit the builder and reload your site. Scroll up to confirm the header updates are live.

Additional Notes

  • The Global Header applies to every page.

  • You can also assign custom headers to specific pages if needed.

  • Keep header design clean — avoid overcrowding.
