Rolling Back to a Saved Version in Divi

Made a change you don’t like? Divi keeps a history of your edits so you can quickly restore an earlier version of your page.

Step 1 – Enable the Visual Builder

Go to the page you want to roll back and click Enable Visual Builder in the WordPress admin bar.

Step 2 – Open the Editing History

At the bottom of the screen, click the History (clock) icon in the Divi toolbar.

Step 3 – Review Past Actions

A panel will appear on the left showing all recent edits in order.
Hover over each step to see a preview of how the page looked.

Step 4 – Select an Earlier Version

Click on the version you want to restore.
The page will immediately update to that saved state.

Step 5 – Save the Restored Version

Once you’ve rolled back, click Save (bottom-right purple circle) to make that version live again.

Additional Notes

  • History resets each time you exit the Visual Builder.

  • For bigger changes, use Page Revisions (found in the WordPress editor).

  • Always preview before saving to confirm the rollback looks correct.
