Creating & Managing Blog Posts in WordPress
Keeping your site updated with blog posts helps with SEO and keeps visitors engaged. Here’s how to create, edit, and organise posts.
Step 1 – Log in to WordPress
From WHMCS or /wp-admin, log in to your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 – Go to Posts
In the left-hand WordPress menu, click Posts → All Posts to see existing posts, or Posts → Add New to create a new one.

Step 3 – Add a New Post
Click Add New. Enter your:

Title (appears at the top of the post and in search engines).

Content (use Divi or the WordPress block editor).

Step 4 – Organise with Categories & Tags
On the right-hand sidebar:

Categories → group posts by topic.

Tags → add keywords for more detail.

Step 5 – Add a Featured Image
Scroll down and click Set Featured Image.
This image shows on your blog roll and social shares.

Step 6 – Publish or Save Draft

Publish → make the post live immediately.

Save Draft → keep working on it before going live.

Step 7 – Manage Existing Posts
From All Posts, hover over a post to:

Edit → update content.

Quick Edit → change categories/tags.

Trash → remove a post.

Additional Notes

Blog regularly for better SEO.

Use clear headings (H1, H2, H3) inside posts.

Always preview posts before publishing to check formatting.
