Clearing Cache to See Updates in WordPress
Sometimes changes don’t appear right away because your browser or site is showing a cached (saved) version of the page. Clearing cache makes sure you’re seeing the latest updates.
Step 1 – Refresh Your Browser Cache
First, try a hard refresh in your browser:
-
Windows:
Ctrl + Shift + R -
Mac:
Cmd + Shift + R

Step 2 – Clear Browser Cache Manually
If the hard refresh doesn’t work, clear your browser cache in settings.
-
Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data
-
Safari: Preferences → Advanced → Show Develop Menu → Empty Caches

Step 3 – Clear WordPress Cache (WP Rocket)
All LFW sites use WP Rocket for caching.
-
Log in to WordPress.
-
In the top admin bar, hover over WP Rocket.
-
Click Clear Cache.

Step 4 – Clear Specific Page Cache (Optional)
If only one page is affected:
-
Go to Pages → All Pages.
-
Hover over the page name.
-
Click Clear This Cache.

Step 5 – Check Your Updates
Reload the page and confirm your edits now appear.

Additional Notes
-
Clearing cache does not delete content — it only refreshes stored copies.
-
Visitors may also need to refresh their browser to see your latest changes.
-
If issues persist, also clear any CDN cache (e.g., Cloudflare) if enabled.
